OUR TESTIMONIALS

My wife and I recently stayed for a weekend at The Birdsnest Inn. The Inn has been extensively renovated by the owner, who is a former interior design consultant of considerable reputation. The facilities are in excellent condition and the decorating is of the highest caliber. Melinda, the owner, is a gracious host, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfasts were excellent. I have stayed ain B&Bs around the US and I rank this as one of the best I have ever visited. Internet is great.

We’ve stayed there four times so far and would never consider staying anywhere else when we visit Aiken. Melinda is the consummate host – from the freshly baked cookies upon arrival to our perfectly appointed room to the delicious breakfasts featuring vegetables from her garden. In the warmer months, we look forward to taking an afternoon dip in the pool and then enjoying a glass of wine with Melinda before we head out for the evening. The Birdnest Inn is truly a magical place!

The two of us stayed at this darling bed-and-breakfast for two nights as we were moving to Aiken. It’s hard to describe how lovely and comfortable the bird nest in is. Melinda makes you feel immediately at home. The decor is stunning and if you enjoy the southwest and the Santa Fe look you will think you are in a museum. The bed was incredibly comfortable as were the quality of the linens and the amenities. Evening fresh baked cookies were delicious and relaxing and breakfast was certainly special and beyond anything you’ll get in a regular hotel.
